Weslaco: Olga Flores, 48, passed away on Friday, September 17th, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. Olga was born on August 22, 1973 in Pharr, Texas to Rogelio Flores and Theresa Hernandez Flores. Olga grew up in Weslaco, with older brother Roy and younger brother Eric.
Olga had four daughters and Samantha, Chelsea, Kristian, and Jamie. She was a single mom most of her life and worked very hard to make sure her daughters had all they needed. Olga was a natural salesperson and spent most of her career in marketing. She loved her job and worked many weekends and evenings to make sure she was successful.
Olga enjoyed fishing and recently took up hunting. She enjoyed sports, but the Dallas Cowboys and football were her favorite. Most important to Olga was her family. She made a big deal out of every holiday and birthday, and the family often gathered for barbecues and dinners. Olga loved capturing all of these moments with pictures and was the happiest when all of her children and grandchildren were together. Olga had a way of making all of these memories so unique and fun. Her laugh was contagious, and her smile would brighten up any mood.
Most importantly to Olga was her Lord and Savior. She believed in the power of prayer and listening to worship music.
