Alejandro Soto

Holland, Michigan - Alejandro "Alex" Soto, 66, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022, at McAllen Medical Center. Alejandro was born on February 26, 1956 to Lazaro and Consuelo (Rocha) Soto in Durango, Mexico. His family moved to the United States (Mississippi) when Alex was a child and then moved to Michigan.

Alex met his future wife, Estela, in Holland, Michigan, while working at Kraft Heinz thirty-five years ago. Alex also worked as a manager and sound engineer for Gama Musical (his brother's band). Alex retired from Kraft Heinz after thirty-eight years of service.

Alex enjoyed taking trips to the beach. He also loved accordion music.

Alejandro loved food, specifically taco de tripitas and menudo. He was family-oriented and loved talking with friends and family on conference calls. He was like a father figure to his siblings.

Alex was firm in his faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was very generous and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Alex would light up any room, and his laugh was contagious.

Alejandro is preceded in death by his parents, Lazaro Soto and Consuelo Rocha.

He is survived by his wife, Estela Moralez Soto, children, Alexia Soto, Alex Soto Jr., Miriam Soto, Sonia Soto, and Aracely (Carlos) Olivo, and siblings: Manuel (Maria) Soto, Raquel Soto, Leticia (Fernando) Bribiesca, Eliceo (Elia) Soto, Gama (Nancy) Soto, Jesus (Nena) Soto, grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2854 120th Ave, Holland, MI 49424.
