Alicia Cornejo

Weslaco- Alicia Cornejo, 65, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away February 12, 2014 after a 13 year courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 29, 1948 in Weslaco, TX to Jose and Eduvijes Chapa Cedillo. She is survived by her loving husband, Gonzalo Cornejo of Weslaco; daughters, Belinda Ibarra and Julissa Cornejo of Weslaco; brothers, Mario Aguirre, Artemio Cedillo and Jose Cedillo Jr.; and a sister, Alma Cedillo.
Also surviving is her father, Jose Cedillo; and grandchildren, Jose M. Mata III, Elsa M. Mata and Joshua D. Mata.
Family will receive friends from 5pm to 9pm on Saturday, February 15, 2014 with a Holy rosary recited at 7pm at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Comfort House, 617 Dallas Ave., McAllen, TX 78501.
