WESLACO — Antonio Garcia, 62, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in Weslaco. Antonio was born in Weslaco on January 15, 1953 to his parents Juan E. Garcia and Maria Rodriguez Garcia.
He worked for the City of Weslaco in the maintenance department before he retired.
Antonio is survived by his two daughters: Patricia Garcia and Clarissa Cadena and sons: Marco A. Garcia and Antonio Jr. Garcia (Erica) with eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also sisters: Guadalupe Perez (Roberto), Francisco G. Reyes, Antonia G. Mata, Constancia Oliva, Pauline G. Cisneros and one brother Juan F. Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Jose Alfredo Garcia, and sisters Maria Gonzalez and Ignacia Cano.
Pallbearers will be Juan T. Reyes, Ramiro M. Reyes, Dolores Reyes, Jamie Reyes, Luis Montalvo, and Manuel Ramos.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 4pm to 9pm with a 7pm Rosary held at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco. Funeral Mass for Antonio Garcia will be at 10am on Monday, August 3, 2015 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
