Minneaplois/Weslaco: Bruce Brodin, 75, passed away on January 14th. He is preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Lorraine Brodin, brother Irvin and his grandson Eric Brodin. He is survived by his wife Diane and his three children, Buck (Judy) Brodin of Dayton, MN, Kim (David) Aurzada of Southlake, TX, Mark (Tina) Brodin of Deluth, MN and grandchildren, Rachel (James) Parks and Andrew Aurzada. He is survived by his brother, Brian and Dale and sister, Nancy.
Bruce enjoyed a beautiful marriage of 52 years. He spent a short time in the Navy and was forced to choose another career due to heart conditions. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was very involved with the Boy Scouts and Jaycees. He was a "jack of all trades", but his passion was repairing sewing machines. He could fix anything and he taught all of his children how to survive. His kids have fond memories of camping as a family.
