Charles Plank

WESLACO / Charles Everett Plank passed away January 29, 2017, at the age of 83. He was born in Mercedes, TX, on July 2, 1933, to Walter H Plank Sr and Marguerite Plank. He is preceded in death by both his parents, his sister Helen McDonald and his brothers Walter H "Buddy" Plank Jr and Bobby Plank. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eva Louise Plank; daughter Carolyn Plank; son Doug (Kathy) Plank all of Weslaco; step-grandchildren Kristi McPherson of Bryan, TX and Randall (Kelcie) Rydl of Sandia, TX; step-great-grandchildren Logan and Gillian McPherson of Bryan, TX; brother-in-law Jerry Roberson of McAllen, TX. He was a long-time employee of Weslaco Motors and at one time part owner and later owner of M&P Coin Laundry and M&P Car Washes. Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at McCaleb Funeral Home, Weslaco, TX, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to McCaleb Funeral Home.
