San Juan- Christian Nathaniel Castro, only three years old, earned his Heavenly wings after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, August 16, 2019. He was born on June 23, 2016, to Chris and Priscilla Castro in Edinburg, Texas.
Christian was a charismatic toddler and a gift from God. He was full of love and life and gifted with a unique spark that would not only light up a room but fill the room and all in it with warmth and love. Christian was very affectionate and moved countless hearts in his short life on earth. He was smart and feisty, brave and fearless, yet compliant when he needed to be. He was a sweet and caring little brother to big sister Sophia and a real joy to be around for all who were lucky enough to meet him.
Christian is preceded in death by his grandmother, Carlotta Bernal. He is survived by his loving parents, Chris, and Priscilla Castro, big sister Sophia, paternal grandparents, Esteban and Judy Castro, maternal grandfather, Praxedis Bernal, numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, from 9 am to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 21, from 9am-10am, at La Viña El Señor in San Juan Texas, with a funeral being held at 10 am officiated by Praxedis Bernal.
