Cindy Dillon, 58, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 17th, 2018 in Las Vegas. Cindy had been diagnosed with cancer and was seeking treatment in Las Vegas where she lost her battle and is now with the two loves of her life, daughters, Mandy and Savanah. Most who knew Cindy would remember her by her bubbly, cheerful, and fun-loving personality. She was a joy to be around. She spent time helping her late husband farm. Above all the most important thing in Cindy's life was caring for her daughter, Mandy, who was born with Spina Bifida. She was indeed a devoted mother and friend. Cindy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ralph and June Sheldon, paternal grandparents, Homer, and Irma Dillon, father, Lewis "Shorty" Dillon, daughters, Amanda, and Savanah Fellars, husband, Douglas Black, and brother-in-law, Philip Minns. She is survived by her mom, Margaret Dillon of Donna, brother, Stephen Dillon and his wife, Veronica, of McAllen, sister, Stacy Minns of New Braunfels, nephews, Dillon Minns, and Stephen Dillon, nieces, Gabi Dillon, Mary Dillon, and Skylar Minns. As per Cindy's request, there will be no funeral service. A guestbook may be signed online. Any donations can be sent to a charity of choice. Cindy will be resting at Sacred Park in Mercedes, where there will be a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 1st, from 5-7pm.
