David Acosta

Weslaco- June 22, 2019, David Acosta, Jr. 76, of Weslaco formerly of Stockbridge, Michigan, was reunited with his loving wife, Carolina. It was love at first sight! After just 1 month of meeting, they eloped and married on July 23, 1965. David is a kind, loving man that never met a stranger. He's quite the jokester, always laughing and smiling. Loves to flirt with all the beautiful ladies. The grandpa that never tells the kids no! After retiring from farming in Michigan after 45 years, David and Carolina moved to Weslaco, Texas. He enjoyed shooting the bull and watching WWE or whatever wrestling was on. He enjoyed the simple things in life. David is the father of three sons David Acosta, III, Daniel Acosta, and Roldan Acosta, one daughter Julie Acosta, Danny's wife. He is the grandfather of eight. Kayla, Cordero, Olivia, Lacie, Isabella, Josiah, David, and Urijah Acosta. He will live on in the hearts and memories of those of us that were lucky enough to know him.
