WESLACO - Deborah "Debbie" Haines Kennedy, 43, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Weslaco. She was born on July 1st, 1972 in Toronto, Canada to Bruce Haines and Lee Shreiderska Hunter. She had one brother, Chris Haines of Vancouver, Canada and a step sister, Melanie Benwell.
Debbie went to school at Richview Collegiate Highschool in Toronto, Canada and received her nursing degree at George Brown University in Toronto.
Debbie met her husband, Norman David Kennedy 20 years ago. They were married in 2008 and would move to Weslaco. Debbie was a member of the Ladies Auxilary Elk's Lodge and was very giving of her time to volunteer. She worked for United Health Care in Harlingen.
Debbie is survived by her parents, Bruce Haines and Lee Hunter, her brother, Chris Haines and his wife, Andrea, her step sister, Melanie Benwell, her husband Dave Kennedy and one nephew and one niece.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
