Dolores L. Garcia

MERCEDES / WESLACO – Dolores Garcia, 70, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Weslaco. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ysabel Limas and Natividad Hernandez Limas, her sister, Ana Maria Limas and her brothers, Jesus Limas, Igancio Limas, and Juan Antonio Limas. Dolores is survived by her only loving daughter, Monica Molina (Samuel), her six grandsons, Raymundo Gonzales IV, Samuel Angel Molina, Sebastian Alexander Molina, Shawn Anthony Molina, Shane Andrew Molina,and Shiloh Adon Molina. She also survived by her sisters Maria De Socorro (Severo) Medrano and Francisca Torres. She had numerous nephews and nieces.
Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews, Jose Antonio Limas, Angel Torres, Severo Medrano, Abel Limas, Ysabel Limas and Jesus Jaime Limas. Her grandsons will be serving as honorary pallbears.
Dolores was an independent woman, raising her daughter on her own and doing her best to provide. She was a hard worker, working as a provider and housekeeper, waking up very early in the morning to get the most out of her day in order to provide the best upbringing for her only daughter, Monica. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother, aunt, caregiver and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at McMcCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco. Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
