Duane Fillwock

WESLACO - Duane Fillwock, 73, was born on September 25, 1943 and passed away on January 29, 2016. The youngest of five children to the late Inez (Jansen) and William Fillwock, Sr. Graduated from Webberville High School in 1959 and attended MSU. He married his current wife, Kitty in 1993. During his working career, he worked as a motorcycle mechanic, automotive mechanic diesel and agriculture, Ingham County Road Commission, drove semi-truck for K. Candell, NTB and retired from MPC - Mason in 2003. Upon retirement, he moved from the Lansing Area to Higgin's Lake. Traveled and wintered in Texas. He enjoyed reading, riding motorcycles, boating, yard work and fixing broken anything. He is survived by his wife Kitty (Kathlene), children Michelle, Terry and Brian, brothers Louie (Pat), sister Betty Lockwood, sister-in-law Frances (Pat), stepsons Martin and Brian Sr. (Michele) with numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his brothers Frederick and William Jr. A memorial service wil be held at a later time. Funeral arrangements are under the care of McCaleb Funeral Home of Weslaco, TX.
