Edgar M. Swarner

MERCEDES - Edgar M. Swarner, 97, of Golden Palms, Harlingen, TX died on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Valley Baptist Hospital, Harlingen, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter C. & Dorothy M. Swarner, and brother, Walter C. Swarner, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Jo; a daughter, Susan (Denny) Langston; a son, Edgar Swarner, Jr.; and two granddaughters, Kelsey Jo Langston & Courtney Ann Langston. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 5, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church, Mercedes, TX.
