WESLACO- Ella Cook, 90, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Beehive Home - Memory Care in Lewisville, TX. Ella was born on Monday, April 8th, 1929 in Weslaco, Texas to Henry Barber and Lillie Crocket.
Ella was a long-time resident of Weslaco then moved to Flower Mound, Texas in 2012. Ella worked at Borderland Hardware as a bookkeeper for 42 years. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, working on her plants and raising turtles. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, James D. Cook, her son James (Jimmy) Cook. sister Louise Daughtry and twin sister Emma Jean Dozier. Ella Dean Cook is survived by her children, Terry (Amanda) Cook, Connie (Henry) Graham, and Kathee Cook with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2020, 10:00 am, at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral arrangements are under the care of McCaleb Funeral Home of Weslaco
