Ellen Louise Bartnesky

Weslaco - Ellen (Schwarz) Bartnesky born December 3, 1923 passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren on July 25, 2015 at 91 years old.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ruth Schwarz, and her sisters, Darlene Moore, Jean Acree, her brother, B.L Schwarz Jr and her husband, Charles "Burr" Bartnesky. She is survived by her brother, Lloyd Schwarz, sister Nadine Pylant, her daughter, Cheryl Bellamy Crist (Eddie) , son, Robbie Adams, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27th, from 4-8, family present 5-7pm at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco. The funeral will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Mercedes on Tuesday at 10am, interment to follow at Ebony Grove in Mercedes. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Mercedes in honor of Ellen.
