Weslaco: Enedelia “Annie” Galvan, 42, passed away on Sunday, January 30th, 2022. Enedelia, nicknamed “Annie” because of her curly hair, was born on January 17th, 1980, to Alejandro Galvan Jr and Olga (Beltran) Galvan in Weslaco, Texas. Annie grew up in Weslaco. She was naturally compassionate, which made her a natural animal lover. In addition, she was a people pleaser, which earned her countless lifelong friendships. Many would say Annie was the life of the party. She enjoyed baking, and her apple cobbler was a favorite to many of her friends and family. Annie also loved children.
Annie was caring, gentle, patient, and strong-willed. She was loved by all who knew her.
Annie is survived by her parents, Alejandro Jr. and Olga Galvan, children, George Alex Rodriguez, Samantha “Nicole” Rodriguez, Angel Galvan, Sophia A. Galvan, sisters, Gloria Cavazos, Selina Galvan (Johnny Herrera), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, 10 am-9 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, February 4th, 10 am, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Weslaco, followed by burial at Weslaco City Cemetery.
