Enrique Ledesma

WESLACO - Enrique Ledesma Sr. 100 entered into Eternal life Wednesday August 25,2021 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Enrique was born July 15,1921 to Alejo Ledesma Velez and Candelaria Salazar Flores of Matehuala, San Luis Potosi.

Enrique Is preceded in death by Parents Alejo Ledesma Velez and Candelaria Salazar Flores, wife Geronima Moreno Ledesma, Sons Eugenio Ledesma,
Felipe Ledesma, Enrique ledesma Jr.

Enrique Is survived by Son Alvino Ledesma of Weslaco, Daughters Martha Beraza ( Jose) of Weslaco, Aurelia Arevalo of Weslaco, Leticia De La Garza( Elias) of Jones Creek, Texas. Further survived by 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Enrique was born in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi where he later met the love of his life Geronima Ledesma and made a Journey to the United States in the 1940s in pursuit of the American dream. Enrique dedicated his life to working in agriculture to provide for his family. Enrique loved gathering with family and friends. Enrique loved playing Mexican Loteria, watch the Dallas Cowboys, and boxing. Enrique was a loving Husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Enrique Ledesma Sr. is scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 10 am-9pm with a rosary at 7 pm at McCaleb Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday September 1, 2021, 2pm at St. Pius X church in Weslaco followed by burial at Highland Memorial in Weslaco.
