WESLACO - Enrique Jubentino (Kike) Rodriguez Sr., 71, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, left to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 25th, 2014. He was a well-known citizen of Weslaco. He was a long time employee of Continental Can Company in Weslaco for 18 years and President AFL-CIO Union. Former business owner of Rodriguez Used Auto Parts. He will be truly missed by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Salomon Sr. and Cristina Rodriguez and a daughter, Sonia Rodriguez.
He is survived by Elva Rodriguez (Mother of his Children), Children: Enrique Jubentino Rodriguez Jr, Ricardo Jaime Rodriguez, Eileen (Mario Jr.) Sanchez, Elaine (Efren Jr.) Sanchez, Yolanda (Ray) Rodriguez, Salomon (Jeanna) Rodriguez III, E.J. Rodriguez. 10 Grandchildren: Ricky, Ashley & Amanda Rodriguez, Joshua (Sara), Brittany and Briana Sanchez, Janelle & Ray Rodriguez, Devon & Dylan Rodriguez and two Great Grandchildren, Skylynn Sanchez & Kensley Scott. Brother Salomon (Oralia) Rodriguez Jr. and Sister Yolanda Warren.
Viewing and Visitation will take place Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a Prayer and Eulogy Service being held at 7:00pm, at McCaleb Funeral Home Chapel in Weslaco, Tx.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 at 1000am at McCaleb Funeral Home with Pastor Gus Desiga officiating. Cremation will take place afterwards.
