Enriqueta Mendoza

Weslaco- Enriqueta Mendoza, 87, passed away March 30, 2014 in Weslaco. She was born July 15, 1926 in Weslaco, TX to Cleofas and Paula Reyes Mendoza. She was a member of Iglesia Bautista Las Palmas of Weslaco for many years, where her ministry was upkeeping the church. She is survived by her sisters, Maria Luisa Lozano, Odila M. Silva, Esperanza Hernandez, Christina Perez and Francisca Cavazos; a nephew she raised as a son, Frank Vasquez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 from 4pm to 9pm at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 10:00 am at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco. Officiating the service will be Pastor Luis Cavazos and Pastor Juan I. Martinez of Iglesia Bautista Las Palmas of Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Serving as pallbearers will be Edward Jesse Vasquez, Bartolo Silva Jr., Ezequiel Hernandez, Pedro Lozano, Jesse Cavazos and Baltazar Perez, Jr.
