Frank was born on June 2nd, 1941, to Mary and Charles Krause in Weslaco, Texas. He was raised in Weslaco with twelve siblings. Frank attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic School and graduated from Weslaco High School. He married Mary Cross on June 17th, 1967.

Frank's professional life was a significant part of his legacy. He dedicated over thirty-five years to the States Postal Service, where his unwavering commitment and reliability made him a cherished figure in the lives of countless residents.

Frank's love for his family was a cornerstone of his life. His proudest achievements were his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings, each of whom he cherished deeply. The Krause family often spent vacations enjoying the peace, tranquility, and adventure of camping. They visited Colorado and Wyoming several times, places that would make anyone appreciate the magnificence of God’s creation. He enjoyed the thrill of riding and racing motorcycles, the strategic challenge of golf and bowling, and fishing, which was by far his favorite pastime. Frank’s family and friends have priceless memories from the countless fishing trips taken over the years.

Frank mastered numerous trades but had a passion for carpentry and even built the entire family home (including the electrical work). He found solace and satisfaction in nurturing plants and projects in his garden. Additionally, Frank was a Weslaco Lion's Club member for over thirty years, reflecting his commitment to service and community engagement.

Above all, Frank was a man of God. He was a devout Catholic and believer in Jesus Christ. Frank was very intelligent, but his life was led by dedication, humility, and integrity, witnessing to others by example. Frank often shared his talents, tools, and materials with St. Pius X Catholic Church. He became dear friends with Father Patrick Steitz over the past two decades. Whenever a need arose, Frank was readily available.
