Ginger Vaughan

WESLACO -Ginger Vaughan went to be with the Lord on Dec 20th, 2021, in Weslaco, Tx. She had the best Christmas ever, with God, her husband-Carroll Vaughan, Father-Bennie Brown, Mother-Virginia Brown and Brother-Doug Brown. Ginger’s life was spent spoiling her husband of 41 yrs. and raising 3 children, in a Christian home. She is survived by her son, Baylor Vaughan (wife Amanda), daughter, Tinka O’Dwyer (husband Sean), daughter, Twyla Vaughan, grandchildren Dustin Vaughan, Mika O’ Dwyer and Kylee O’Dwyer and her sister Karen Doffing (husband Randy).

Ginger enjoyed hauling piles of kids to 4-H events, trading delicious recipes with her sister Karen and spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. She also liked doing mail-in sweepstakes, playing in the Frio river, and being a “free Uber” for her close friends. Additionally, she served in her church, RGV Fellowship Church.

The family welcomes you to attend a Celebration of Life, as per her wishes. Her ashes will be spread at a later date, with family. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to MD Anderson.

Mercedes Livestock Show Lamb Arena (where Ginger served for 48 years for the 4-H and FFA).

Pastor, Art Beckwith, will say a few words from 10:30 - 11:00, followed by a pot luck and dessert social. Please bring your favorite dish.
