Gloria C. Robinson Scott

WESLACO - Gloria C. Robinson Scott, a resident of John Knox Village, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 in Weslaco, TX. She was born in Concord NH on December 8, 1922, to the late Alfred Corriveau and Alida (Dufresne) Corriveau Shackley. She graduated from Concord High in 1939. She worked her way through Keene Teachers College graduating in 1943. She married Harold Robinson in 1944. They lived in Ashland where they raised two daughters. Gloria taught home economics at Ashland NH High School from 1955-1964. While living in Ashland, she was a member of the local Women's Club and the cheerleading coach at Ashland High School for many years. The family moved to Rochester NH in 1964 where she taught home economics at the junior high. After retiring and the death of her first husband, she married Mr. Shirley Scott in 1983. They enjoyed many years of RV traveling around the country, settling in Weslaco, TX. Funeral arrangements are under the care of McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco.
