Guadalupe A. Silguero a beloved soul cherished by many, passed away recently in Weslaco, Texas. Born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on May 29th, 1944, immigrating with her parents as a toddler, becoming a Naturalized United States Citizen, and marrying WWII Veteran Samuel Silguero. Guadalupe led a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Guadalupe will always be remembered for her passion for singing and her sheer enjoyment of attending BINGO nights. However, her true joy stemmed from spending quality time with her family, particularly during poker nights where unforgettable memories were created.
Described as a strong and independent individual throughout her journey, Guadalupe's warm and welcoming nature touched the hearts of all who crossed her path. Her kindhearted spirit and infectious smile illuminated even the darkest of days. She served as an inspiration to her son, Oscar E. Alejandro.
In the presence of Juan Alejandro (father), Socorro Zapata Alejandro (mother), and Jose Marcos Alejandro (brother), Guadalupe's presence brought light and love into their lives. While Guadalupe may have departed this world, she leaves behind a legacy that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Guadalupe is survived by a loving family including Oscar E. Alejandro (son), Julianne Alejandro (granddaughter), Annette Alejandro (daughter-in-law), Arianna Martinez (granddaughter), along with Oralia Jasso (sister), Raul Alejandro (brother), and Francisco Z. Alejandro (brother). Their grief is shared by countless friends and acquaintances who were touched by Guadalupe's kindness and positivity.
May Guadalupe A. Silguero rest in eternal peace knowing that she was truly treasured in life and will never be forgotten in memory.
