WESLACO - Helen N Holganza went home to the Lord On January 20, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was 81 years old. She was born to the late Crispin Nazareno and Gertrudes Damuy Nazareno in Baganga, Davao Oriental, Philippines.
She was married to the late Democrito “Danny” Holganza Sr. of Dumanjug Cebu Philippines. Helen is survived by her six children. Sergio (Vic Vic )Holganza, Cebu, Philippines, Jacqueline (Charles Cardenas III) Villanueva, Glen Holganza, Cebu Philippines, Warren (Gina) Holganza, Cebu Philippines, Teresa (Ray)H. Lenahan Weslaco Texas and Danny Boy (Michelle) Holganza. Scotland. Grandchildren, Lyssa Villanueva, Raymund Villanueva. Alfernie Holganza, and Alyson Helen Rae Holganza ,and one Great Grand
Daughter, Aria Marbella Gallegos. One Sister Purisima Nazareno Andulan and a brother Edistio Nazareno and numerous nieces and Nephews.
Helen was a devoted and loving mother to her children and grandchildren and a loyal friend. She was an amazing cook and loved music. Helen worked in city government in the Philippines for many years and then dedicated her life to caring for the elderly in California. Due to Covid-19, arrangements will be private.
