WESLACO - James Edward Clark, age 82, passed away quietly at home in Weslaco, Texas on Friday, September 25, 2020 after a brief battle with lung cancer.
James was born in Milwaukee, WI January 27, 1938. Graduated from Baraga High School where he participated on the basketball and debating team and served as class President of his senior class. Continued his education at Michigan Tech. University with a double major at Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
After graduating, Jim had started what would turn out to be a lifelong career developing corporate communication networks.
Jim married the love of his life, Miss Mary Ann Dault of L'Anse, Michigan on November 30, 1963. For several years he and Mary "followed the job" throughout the United States. Living in their Airstream trailer where ever the work took them. Those where the fun days. Eventually settled down in Itasca, II. a suburb of Chicago.
Upon retirement, they hit the road again in their Airstream spending the winters in South Texas for eight years. Fell in love with the tropical weather and moved to Weslaco, TX.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann, his daughter Mary Lynn Weslaco, TX, his sister Ida L. (Gerald) Allan of Pelkie, MI., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
