Jose M. Alejandro Jr.

WESLACO - Jose M. Alejandro Jr., 49, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He was born in Weslaco to Jose Marcus Alejandro Sr. and Estela Alejandro. He had three brothers, John, Javier and Jaime and a sister Beverly. His future bride was the next door neighbor. He married the love of his life, Alicia, in 1994 and they would have one daughter, Thalia. Jose enjoyed football, playing as a kid and watching professional and college ball. His favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys, of course. He loved music and rock and roll. He and his brothers loved to discuss all of the musical influences. He loved to cook and was a great at it. He made some great salads and was very creative. He created many of his own recipes and loved watching the cooking channel. Jose was known as the great story teller. Many times he gathered the family on the front porch to listen to one of his stories. Jose is preceded in death by his father, Jose Alejandro Sr. He is survived by his mom, Estela Alejandro, his wife, Alicia Alejandro, his daughter, Thalia Alejandro, his sister, Beverly Anzaldua (Reynaldo Jr.) of Poteet, Texas, his brothers, John Alejandro (Melissa) of Austin, Texas, Javier Alejandro (Becky) of Austin, Texas, and Jaime Alejandro of Weslaco,Texas, and numerous nephews and nieces. Jose will be remembered as a sweet, calm and gentle spirit.
