Jose Alfredo Pineda

Weslaco-Jose Pineda, 58, passed away Friday, January 15th, 2016.

Jose Alfredo Pineda, we started with a simple hello but ended with a complicated goodbye. A son is a gift, but what’s better than being the gift to his own mother on her own birthday April 10, 1957. The fifth blessing out of fourteen to Francisco and Gregoria Pineda. He was a father to Alfred Pineda, Reynaldo Jesus Pineda, Bobbie Jo Pineda, Barbara Francis Pineda, Jose Alfredo pineda Jr., Caroline Jacob Pineda, five step-children and eleven grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife, Nancy Pineda.

Nonetheless he was a very hard working father, son, uncle, cousin, friend, all you could ask for. Starting from the age nine he strived until his last breath. From show shiner to working in fields, to professional electrician, he made it happen. Giving no trouble and being such an amazing person he helped those that needed it. A social life wasn’t important to him but being around family is what gave him happiness and laughter. He was given this life because he was strong enough to live it. Some of us think holding on makes us stronger; sometimes it is letting go. We only part until we meet again
