WESLACO - Juan Cavazos Jr., 28, passed away on Sunday, March 12th, 2017 at the age of 28. He left behind a wife, Brianna Arreola, a 3 year old son, Jayceon M. Cavazos, a sister, Princess Cavazos, nephew Draven and niece DeeAndra, his parents, Juan Sr. and Irene Castaneda, and his aunt Irene Castaneda Cavazos. He was born in Weslaco to Juan Cavazos, Sr. and Irene Castaneda Cavazos. As a child, he was always such an active, mischievous boy, seeing what trouble of new adventure he could get into. He went to school in Weslaco. Growing up, he loved playing football, running cross country, hanging out with friends and the color blue. His favorite music was rap, country, and corridos. Juan Cavazos Jr. was a huge, die hard, Dallas Cowboy fan. He would never miss a game. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his son Jaceon, nephew Draven, and niece Deeandra, taking them to the park and making them laugh. Juan cared for his aunt Anita De la Cruz, who he thought of as a second mother. He looked out for her and took care of her until his last day on earth. He was a great person and will live in our hearts forever. Juan was loved by many for his great heart, caring being, and amazing personality. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and son. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5-9pm and Thursday, from 3-9pm. A 10am chapel service will be held on Friday, March 17th, at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco. Burial to follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
