Words can not describe what this man meant to our family and to all who knew him that read this today. Juan was a special soul that everyone loved being around. He was the life of the party, and even when there wasn’t a party he would always bring life to the people that surrounded him.
Juan was born in Ohio, on September 2nd, 1954. He lived his life to the fullest from his favorite hobby of painting cars and semi trucks to dancing to his old school Tejano music. Living in Donna, Texas for 52 years a lot of people knew him. People referred to him as Shummo, Gordo, Memo but his all time favorite was BIG DOGG!
A little about Juan Manuel DeLeon, he was a lover, a fighter but most important a GREAT friend. He was the type of person that would stop what he was doing to get things done. He would get the impossible to become possible.
As a family the thing we remember most of him was his ability to make us laugh. He would say and do the crazies things but he always managed to put a smile in everyone’s face. So if you came over with a sad or mad face by the time you left it was nothing but laughs.
So take your glass filled with Bacardi Razz and hold it up and say this one is for you MEMO, aka BIG DOGG!
You came into our lives as a loan…. you were asked to return and you complied living a whole deep inside. You were an angel sent from above to makes us laugh and bring joy, now you leave us with much pain but our minds full of memories for our life time...
We morn the loss of a son, brother, uncle and friend
