Weslaco- Juan Ernesto Dominguez Saenz, 74, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
Juan was born on September 11, 1945, to Isabel Dominguez and Consuelo Saenz in Mexico. Juan married Cecilia Olivarez, and they had two children, daughter, Maria de Consuelo, and son, Juan Isabel. After Cecilia’s untimely death in 1995, Juan was left to care for his teenage son and young adult daughter.
The family developed a special bond. The most important thing for Juan was his family. He loved his children and grandchildren.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Consuelo Dominguez, wife, Cecilia Dominguez, and brothers, Noe Alvarez and Rodolfo Dominguez.
He is survived by his daughter, Maria de Consuelo Izaguirre (Leonel) of Donna, Juan Isabel Dominguez (Karla), grandchildren, Juan Ernesto II, Alexis Yael, Mia Isabella, and Lila Sophia Dominguez, Cecilia Valladeres (David), Juana Maria Martinez (Ruben), Leonel, Valeriia, Angel Izaguirre, great grandchildren, Eileen Valladeras and Ruben Martinez, brothers, Rolando Dominguez (Carmen), Rosalinda Dominguez (Luciano), Rosario Dominguez (Rudy), Jose Luna (Ninfa), Reymundo Luna (Irma), Baldomero Luna (Angie), Jesus Luna, Romeo Luna, Leticia Martinez, and Christine Harper.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 18, 2020, from 9 am-9 pm. Burial will be Sunday, July 19, at 2 pm at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
