ALAMO - Judith Ann Compton, 75, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Edinburg, Texas.
Memorial service will be held at Alamo Country Club on Friday March 13th at 10:00am.
Judith was born in Detroit, Michigan to James and Ruth Dykstra on August 5th, 1939. She went to high school at Westwind High School and graduated in 1957. She worked as a Beauty Consultant for Dillards for 20 years, and later managed the giftshop at the Wichita Zoo for 5 years. She enjoyed looking at flowers, photography, traveling, and loved taking cruises.
Judith is survived by her husband: CJ Compton of Alamo, Texas, Son: Michael Consolver and wife Amy, Step Children: Jerri Carroll, Vicki Keck, Patti Compton, Scott Compton and wife Kara. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren: Christopher Keck, Jarrod Carroll, Jessica Keck, Tristan Compton-Hamiel, Aaron Keck, Kristen Carroll, Brock Compton-Hamiel, Alexis Williams, Colby Compton, Andrew Compton, Hunter Compton, Savannah Consolver, Caroline Consolver, and Jackson Consolver, and 5 great grandchildren: Aden Hickman, Natalie Hickman, Kinley Hickman, Sophia Keck and Ashtyn Keck. She is preceded in death by her second husband, Harry Faelber (1987), and one grandchild: Jarrod Carroll (2002).
