Kenneth Kevin Markos, 54, of McAllen peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, in Edinburg, Texas after a brief illness. Born to Robert K. Markos and Tura Abbott in Kingsville, Texas on July 3, 1964, Kenneth grew up in and around Bishop and graduated from Bishop High School in 1983. Growing up, Kenneth was an active member of 4-H and developed a strong love of the outdoors. One of his favorite activities was fishing, a passion that had been introduced to him by his father. He had many favorite fishing spots around Arroyo City and Corpus Christi and would spend many hours at them, waiting for the right catch. Kenneth was proceeded in death by his step-mother, Sue Markos; aunt and uncle, Jeanne and Jesse Efird; as well as his grandparents. He is survived by one daughter and two sons, including Joshua Markos of Corpus Christi; his father, two brothers, one sister, and several nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his long-time partner Sarah Feagin, along with her sons Mark and John, her daughter Valerie, and Valerie's son Nickolas, of McAllen. At this time, no services are pending.
