Leticia Reyna

Weslaco- Leticia Reyna, 73, passed away on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020. Arrangements are pending. Leticia was born on December 26, 1946 to Trinidad and Eugenio Reyna in Mexico.

She spent most of her adult life in Weslaco. Leticia was a hard worker, she didn't have the opportunity to get a formal education, but her daughter, Jonoise, never lacked for anything. Leticia worked for Dickie's as a seamstress over 30 years until she retired.

Leticia loved visiting with family and friends and often invited them over. Her home was always immaculate and impecibaly clean, so she was always ready for guests.

Leticia had a contagious smile that would light up any room. Her Catholic faith was the center of her life and she prayed to the Virgin Mary often.

Leticia is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Eugenio Reyna, brothers Jose Reyna, Mario Reyna, and Juan Reyna, and sisters, Delia Rosa Reyna.

She is survived by her only child, Jonoise Sanchez (Francisco), grandchildren, Jimmy, Derek, and Karissa Ibarra, brothers Eugenio Reyna Jr. (Rosa) and Cruz Reyna, and sister, Sylvia Reyna.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 27th, 10am-9pm, at McCaleb Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7pm. Mass will be celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church, Friday, August 28th, 10am, with burial to follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
