Lorraine Anna Knutson, 94, of Weslaco, TX passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
Lorraine was born on March 31, 1920 to the late Frank and Elisa Vogt in South St. Paul, Minnesota, where she grew up. She later moved to Balsam Lake, Wisconsin where she raised her family and also owned a resort and a supper club. She and her husband, Larry, retired to Alamo, TX and later moved to Weslaco.
Lorraine was well known for her art work and art instruction in painting, ceramics, and quilting.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence V. Knutson of Weslaco; son Rollin (Gail) of Amery, WI; daughter Susan Hunt (Jim Aaron) of Aloha, Oregon; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial service arrangements are pending.
