She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Mutz; her father, Septine Champagne; her mother, Estella Bourgeois; stepfather, Adolf Faulk; and one son, Eugene Mutz.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Lucy, as she was known by her friends and “Toot” by her family, was a “people person, who never met a stranger.” The family would like to thank her caregivers, Nora and Lali for their services. A special thanks to Dr. Volpe for her care for our Mother for many years.
As per her request, the following poem was sealed in an envelope and was to be opened by her family at the time of her passing: “We think of you in silence, make no outward show, but what it meant to lose you no will ever know. To some you are forgotten, to others a part of the past, but to us who loved you dearly, your memories will always last. Your life was one of kindly deeds, helping others with their needs. Sincere in truth, heart and mind, we’ll cherish the memories you left behind.”
