Marcos Cesar Galindo

WESLACO - Marcos Cesar Galindo, 58, passed away on Wednesday, December 27th at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born on January 2nd, 1959 in Rio Bravo Tamps, Mexico to Marcos and Magdalena Garza. His family would migrate to Ohio every year, which is where he met his future wife when they were both teenagers. He and Rose would raise their four children in Weslaco, where they would spend the next 38 years together. Marcos is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Jesus, Lourdes, Sergio and Humberto Galindo. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa, his daughters, Lizette Zamora (Heriberto) of Mercedes, Samantha Estrada (Alfredo) of Weslaco, sons Leonardo Galindo of Killeen, and Gamaniel Galindo of San Antonio, grandsons, Nathan, Heriberto Jr., and Ethaniel Zamora, and Levi Galindo, brother, Homero Galindo, and sisters, Martha Reyna and Carmela Meza. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28th, from 1 pm-9 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, December 29th, at 2 pm, with burial to follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes. Serving as pallbearers will be Leonardo Galindo, Nathan Zamora, Heriberto Zamora, Wendy Fox, Alfredo Estrada, and Homero Galindo.
