Maria Gloria Alejandro

Rio Hondo- The Lord Jesus Christ called Gloria Alejandro, age 69, home on December 13, 2013 to live for eternity. Gloria was born on May 20, 1944 in Diaz Ordaz, Mexico to Leopoldo Lopez and Elvira Garza Lopez. She was a long time resident of Rio Hondo, Texas. She was a strong woman of Faith who truly reflected God’s love, forgiveness, and mercy. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Gloria is survived by her long-time companion, Eulalio Perales; her 4 children, Camilo and Eustolia Cardenas III, Mike and Carmen Cardenas, Monica Cardenas, and San Juanita Cardenas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grand children; and 13 brothers and sisters.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco.
Arrangements are under the direction of McCaleb Funeral Home of Weslaco.
