Marian Smith

Weslaco/Andover, MN: Marian Smith, 83, passed away on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at her home in Weslaco. Marian was born on May 16th, 1935 to John Christ and Elizabeth Rumer Christ in Wimbledon, North Dakota. She married Dale Dwayne Smith in 1959, and they spent the next 46 years together until his death in 2005. Marian enjoyed traveling and trying her luck in some casinos along the way. She also enjoyed camping during her travels, of course in a comfortable trailer. She loved shopping, playing cards, reading, and board games. Marian was somewhat competitive, and most will remember her by her love of playing golf, which was her favorite pastime. Marian is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Christ and sister, Verna Louze. She is survived by her sons, Garie Smith (Hannelore), Kim Smith (Raelissa), daughter, Terryl Smith, grandchildren, Michael Smith (Teresa), Patrick Smith (Patrice), Shane Smith (Lisa), and Sean Smith, Tenisha Anderson (Amir Foy) , Demetrius "DJ" Anderson, great-grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Gabby Smith, Katelyn Smith, Sumayyah Foy.
