Mario Rodriguez Sr.

Pharr- Mario B Rodriguez entered eternal rest Thursday June 1, 2023. He was born in Mercedes Texas on August 13, 1938 where he met his loving wife of 65 years Minerva E Sandoval Rodriguez. Together they had six children. Blanca Aurora Williams (Jonny R Williams) Leticia Meza (Ricardo Meza) Anita Rodriguez (Douglas Williams) Alma Farries (David Farries) Mario Rodriguez Jr. (Antonio Sanchez Rondon) and Marcos Rodriguez (Alicia Rodriguez) Mario had 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Mario was a wonderful and devoted father and grandfather to all. Besides his love for his family and friends he had a passion for fishing.   Most of all enjoyed fishing with his family over the years.  He served in the Armed Forces and is an Army veteran. He was a blessing to all who knew him and will be greatly missed and forever remembered and loved by his many children, grand children, great grandchildren and friends.
