WESLACO - Mary Lynn Harbison, 75, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Weslaco, TX. Lynn was born on August 22nd, 1941 to Paul and Virginia Ewing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had a brother, Bob. Her family immediately moved to Harlingen, where she grew up. She graduated from Harlingen High School in 1959. She attended college in San Marcos and then made her way back to Harlingen, where she met her soulmate, Gary. They fell in love immediately and married on December 19th, 1986. Most people that knew them knew that they were inseparable. In 1988, she and Gary bought their family's business, Aloe Vera Products, which they ran as a team until the day she died. They also moved to Weslaco and made it their home. They were very successful and made a great team. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Lynn was a member of the PEO for over 50 years. She was a tremendous wife, mother and grandmother. She was a true friend to many and would selflessly give to them. She was always a shoulder to lean on. She was a great cook and known for her turkey and dressing and wonderful casseroles. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Virginia Ewing and her son, Stephen Michael Ewing. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Harbison, her sons, Bill McNabb of New Braunfels, Butch McNabb (Lizette) of San Antonio, David Harbison (Karen) of Dallas, and her daughters, Heather Womble, of Austin, Candy Chrisman (Scott), of Memphis, Tennessee, Kathy Hitchcock (Les), of Seattle, Washington and, 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Bob Ewing of Brownsville. Lynn was a patient, gentle and humble Christian woman who always appreciated the little things in life. Lynn will always be remembered as a caring, loving person, who gave love and care freely and selflessly. A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
