Mercedes- Miguel Gomez, 50, passed away at his home on Friday, September 3rd, 2021. Miguel was born on July 24, 1971, to Vicente Gonzalez and Isabel Gomez in Weslaco, Texas. Miguel grew up in Mercedes and was the youngest child, his mom’s special son.
Miguel had a huge heart and was always full of laughter. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and football. He was smart and cared greatly for his mom, taking care of her throughout his life.
Miguel is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente Gonzalez and Isabel Gomez.
He is survived by his siblings, Araceli Ortega (Robert Cantu), Diana Gomez (David Abrego III), Martin Gonzalez (Rosie), Moises Salinas (Maria), Ralph Salinas, Steve Salinas, Charlie Sanchez, Mary Ramos (Vidal), Olga Crowson (Monty), Paul Salinas, Ramon Salinas, Deanna Pfeiffer (John).
A memorial service will be held at McCaleb Funeral Home on Saturday, September 11th, at 3 pm.
