Miguel Angel Ortega

Weslaco- Miguel Angel Ortega, 26, passed away on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. He was born on April 29th, 1992 in West Palm Beach Florida to Rosario and Lydia Gonzalez Ortega. Miguel was the youngest of ten children. Miguel is preceded in death by his mom, Lydia Ortega. He is survived by his father, Rosario Ortega Sr. of Weslaco, siblings. Erica Ortega of Dallas, Rosario Ortega Jr. of Weslaco, Maria Ortega of Dallas, Elsa Alaniz (Jesus) of Weslaco, Eduard Gonzalez (Selena) of Dallas, Valeria Gonzalez of Dallas, Ismael Ortega (Michelle) of Dallas, Amanda Ortega of Weslaco and Luis Ortega of Weslaco. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25th, from 10am-9pm, with a rosary at 7pm. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 10am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mercedes. Burial will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
