Mildred M. Alewine

Mildred Conaway Alewine Brautigam of Waco, TX passed away January 8, 2022, in Donna, TX. Mildred attended and graduated from Chilton High School (1947) and Hillcrest Hospital Nursing School. She worked at the Hillcrest Hospital and retired eventually from General Tire. She spent time also with the American Red Cross & San Benita Refugee Center. After retirement, Mildred and her husband, Carl Alewine, moved to Victoria Palms in Donna, TX full-time in 2002.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Alewine (2006), son Les Alewine (1992), daughter Lisa Owen (1992), parents Leroy & Nora Conaway, brothers Ernest & Harold Conaway, and second husband Ralph Brautigam (2019).
She is survived by grandsons, Lukas Alewine and his wife Kristi of Burleson, TX and Jason Owen and his wife Kimberly, of Palestine, TX, great-grandchildren Landree & Easton Alewine, Kaylee & Jay Owen.
