Molly Anne Polvado

Molly Anne Polvado, 82, of Weslaco, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior and love of her life, Willis, on June 17th, 2014.
She was born near Donna, TX, on July 7th, 1931, to Clyde and Gladys Slate. Molly graduated from PSJA High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Willis Polvado, for 59 years. They raised 3 children and together, opened Mid-Valley Glass Co. in Weslaco, TX.
Molly enjoyed dancing, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Willis and friends. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 40 years. Molly was an avid quilter and was honored with many quilting awards.
Molly is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Polvado, parents, and brothers, Don and Dick, sister in law, Ione.
She is survived by her children, Sherry Degges (Ron), Terry Polvado (Kathy), Michael Polvado, brother David Slate (Betty), sister, Sue Howard, sister-in-law, Jenny Ligon (Charlie). Molly is also survived by 6 precious grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, along with many loving nieces and nephews and countless longtime friends.

Visitation to be held Friday, June 20th, 2014 from 5-7:30pm @ McCaleb Funeral Home and a Funeral Service to be held Saturday June 21st, 2014, 10:00am, @ First Baptist Church, Weslaco, TX. Interment following @ Highland Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Roy Moravitz, Johnny Guinn, Mark McCaleb, Tim McDaniel, David Hensley, Brett Polvado, Omar Rodriguez, Mark Ottmers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Barajas and Stevern Barajas.
