Pablo A. Sandoval Sr. passed away on October 15, 2023, at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born June 30, 1931, in Beltran, Texas, Pablo led a fulfilling life with his unwavering dedication and vibrant personality.
Pablo married Esperanza Uresti in 1952.
Pablo worked tirelessly in various roles in the agriculture industry throughout his career. From being a cotton ginner to working with Valley Onion and DUDA, he left an indelible mark on each endeavor he undertook. Pablo also worked in cotton fields and Hernandez Grass Farms, fearless in getting his hands dirty and contributing to the growth of these enterprises. Even after retirement, he joined forces with his brother, Dr. Jose Sandoval, assisting him in clearing lots for subdivisions.
Pablo lived life to the fullest and by the motto "work hard, play hard." He loved to play "chalupa" and poker. These games allowed him to entertain friends and family for hours. He could also dance the night away and had some great moves. When Pablo wasn't working or spending time playing, he enjoyed watching the old Cowboys and Indians movies.
Pablo is preceded in death by his wife, Esperanza, and son, Jose Antonio Sandoval.
He is survived by his children, Amador Sandoval Sr.(San Juanita) Sandoval, Maria Juanita Hernandez (Joel), Jose Luis Sandoval (Cynthia), Pablo Sandoval Jr, Norma Paz (Reginaldo), grandchildren, Anaise Recae Guzman, AJ Sandoval, Mary Jane Hernandez, Joanna Garza, Jeannette Hernandez, Ayissa Sandoval, Jose Antonio Sandoval, Cassandra Ruiz, Larissa Sandoval, Pablo Sandoval III, Rolando Paz, Roman Gabriel Paz, and Priscilla Paz, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
