PHARR - Pat Holley, 84, passed away at his home in Pharr, Texas on December 13, 2002. Pat was born on March 22, 1938 in McAllen Texas.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Pearl Holley. He is survived by his wife Maria Holley, sisters; Judy Henderson of Waco, Ruth Smithey of Victoria and Mary Miller of Forney, sons; Steve Holley of Weslaco and Jeff Holley (Brenda) of Robstown, his sister-in-law Maria S. Maldonado, grandchildren Maldonado April Howington of Corpus Christi, Kristina Graves (Clayton) of Robstown, James Holley of Round Rock, Courtney Holley of San Antonio, and Samantha Holley of Weslaco, 5 great grandchildren; Riley Howington, Callie Graves, Hayden Graves, Jaxon Graves and Haddie Graves and numerous nieces and nephews, and mother of his children Marie Rose.
Pat grew up in Donna Texas and graduated from Donna High School. He served in the Navy from 1956 to 1959. He worked for Dennisons, Mid Valley Chemicals in Weslaco as a bookkeeper and retired in the mid 90's.
Pat enjoyed reading, watching sports and watching westerns whether they were old or new. He loved to hunt whenever he got the chance. And he was great at telling stories about his past.
