Weslaco- Patricia Ann Gray, 67, passed away after a courageous three year battle with cancer. She was born on December 5, 1951, to John Heberle and Doris Williams Heberle in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Patricia grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania with her three brothers and began her career in the telecommunications industry after graduating from high school. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul, in 1971 and worked until 2005 supporting significant business telecommunications growth for the entire Rio Grande Valley. Patty and Paul raised three children, Stephanie, Sara, and Paul John. As a couple, they saw the world together visiting almost thirty countries; she loved to travel and enjoyed taking time for spontaneous discoveries along the way. She took great care to bring the family together for special meals and always had a knack for finding the perfect words of encouragement, embracing the gift of life, and bringing kindness to the world with a signature style. She will mostly be remembered for her love of family, her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild and those lucky enough to call her friend. She was a true renaissance woman and was a kind soul to all she came in contact with - she will be forever missed. Patricia is preceded in death by her father, John Heberle, and brother, Michael Heberle. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly fifty years, Paul, mother, Doris Heberle of Tallahasee, FL, daughters, Stephanie Gray of Queens, NY, Sara Ramos (Eleazar) of Weslaco, son, Paul Gray (Brandelyn) of San Antonio, brothers, Thomas Heberle (Karen) of Erie, PA, James Heberle (Jessica) of Tallahassee, FL, sister in law, Barbara Heberle, grandchildren, Kameron Williams, Emily Gray, Sydney Ortiz (Agustin), Elizabeth Ramos, Eleazar Ramos, great-grandchild, Thaddeus White, and numerous nephews and nieces she loved with great pride. May she rest in peace. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23rd, from 3-9pm, with a prayer service at 7 pm.
