Weslaco: Priscilla Ann Montaño, 53, lost her battle with diabetes on May 19th, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center. Priscilla was born on November 29, 1967, to Jose Raul Sr. and Aurora Pina Montaño in Yuma, Arizona. After graduating from Weslaco Highschool in 1985, Priscilla went to work for Sander Pharmacy for many years. She worked at Donna Independent School District for a few years but will mostly be remembered for her time at Weslaco Fire Department.
Priscilla was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan. She loved the thrill and adventure of motorcycles and especially Harley Davidsons. Casinos were a favorite destination, offering excitement and fun, two of Priscilla's favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed bbq’s, long rides, and trips to South Padre Island with her precious dog Princess. Priscilla was a music lover, George Strait and Grupo Mazz were always on her playlist.
Priscilla had a beautiful smile and beautiful dimples that would light up any room. She was very caring and generous, helping countless people in her short life.
Priscilla is preceded in death by her father, Jose Raul Montaño Sr.. She is survived by her mom, Aurora Montano, brothers Jose Raul Montaño Jr. of Weslaco, Jorge Eduardo Montaño of Pharr, sister, Palmira Olga Obregon of Mission, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her beloved dog Princess who Priscilla loved dearly.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 22nd, 6:30 pm at the home of Jose Raul Montaño Jr., 1418 Mango Ct., Weslaco, TX 78596.
