Ramiro V. Ruiz, Sr.

DONNA, TX - Ramiro V. Ruiz, 68, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, surrounded by his family.  Ramiro, known as “Ram”, was born to Simon and Angelina Ruiz on July 6, 1954 in Tipp City, Ohio. 

He loved to be surrounded by his grandchildren and loved watching his Dallas Cowboys football.  Ramiro fought many battles for many years despite spending much of that time in and out of the hospital he never lost his sense of humor. Throughout his entire journey, he cracked jokes with his grandchildren and made silly faces, he even made pranks on the nurses. 

Ramiro is survived by his five children: Rachel Reyes (RB), Angelina Carter (Charles), David Ruiz (Sonia), Mike Ruiz, Ramiro Ruiz Jr., and his sister Mercedes Garcia, also including numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

He had the great ability to make others smile and his sense of humor will be missed. As he always mentioned “I’ll always be flying like an Eagle”.
