This was Olga, who would later become his wife, soulmate, and mother of their four children. They married in December, 1988. Sergio moved his family to Florida where they worked very hard. They worked in the fields picking strawberries, but Sergio was an entrepeneur and not satisfied with this life for his family, so they rented a field and planted their own strawberries. Later, when construction was booming, he went to work in the construction business, again, he decided to do it himself. He and Olga began their own construction company. In 2007, when construction in Florida began to decline, they decided to move back to Weslaco where they ran Olga Espinoza Dry Walling. When construction slowed in the valley, Sergio didn't waste any time, he opened a bakery, you may remember, El Mexicano Bakery. His latest venture was Checo's convenience store on 18th. Pedro was a true entrepenuer and took advantage of his talent and determination in order to make a better life for his family. He also loved baseball all of his life, watching and playing, no favorite team, just loved the game. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered.
